How can i make this effect/animation

Photo to sketch tutorial.
After i got positive reactions to my photoshop work. I decided to put a tutorial that shows how i did it.
Step 1 : Open your picture, or use the same as mine. And make a duplicate of the background layer (By pressing ctrl/J or go to layer/duplicate layer.
Step 2 : Desaturate the layer by pressing shift/ctrl/u or go to image/adjustments/desaturate.
Step 3 : Make another duplicate of the layer.
Step 4 : Invert this new layer by pressing ctrl/i or go to image/adjustments/invert.
Step 5 : Set the blending mode from normal to color dodge.
Step 6 : Now we're gonna apply the minimum filter to the layer. go to filter/other/minimum. Select a radius of 1 or 2 pixels.
Step 7 : In this last step we're gonna lower the interior opacity. So move the slider to the left. i picked 96%
And this is the final result.
